Volunteers at a get-together
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and every one has something unique they bring to the project. Here’s an example:
One of our volunteers, David, has lots of experience both in life and professionally, but this is the first volunteer role he has had directly supporting people. “The very comprehensive training programme for volunteers with Transitions gave me enough confidence to get started with this new role. It has challenged me but I also get a tremendous thrill watching a person gain confidence and achieve their goals with my support.”
