Transitions aims to combat isolation and improve independence and wellbeing for adults who are feeling vulnerable or have limited support networks. We work in the Exeter, East and Mid Devon areas and provide the following:
Small group workshops sharing ideas and experiences around common topics and
Meet-ups with other people facing similar issues;
We train and support volunteers from all walks of life to help out at our workshops, and to offer 1-1 support with your self-help journey. To find out more about applying to become a Transitions volunteer please click here for more information and an application form.
The Transitions Team
I’ve been working with Transitions since the start in 2011, and for ECI since 2006. I have a background in housing advice, volunteer management and community project development and am (almost) qualified as a Personal Performance Coach. I enjoy live music, being in nature and sleeping!
Whilst I’ve only been working with Transitions / ECI since March 2022, I have worked with and for charities in a variety of different roles for over 20 years. I also have extensive experience around autism and mental health, both personally and professionally. In my spare time I love hanging out with my dog, listening to loud rock music and appreciating the outdoors.
I’ve been working with ECI since September 2021, and I work for a couple of different projects within the organisation. I have worked in Charity Administration for many years and love working here in my hometown.
